Sunday March 18th 2012 - Feeling up to the task? Grab some friends or test yourself on this challenging course in and around the Gellibrand River Estuary (Princetown). Come and see what all the adventure racing fuss is about and use this event as a springboard to the Bullen Merri Challenge Marysville 2 Melbourne and beyond.
With achievable distances and all transitions start and finish in the one area the Kangaroobie Klassic is an ideal introduction to adventure racing and is supported by Corangamite Shire`s Recreation Give It a Go Week initiative.
Compete as a team ( of 2,3 or 4), relay style in individual legs or for the punishment merchants tackle the lot by yourself. Your challenge: River Swim (1km) River Paddle (5.7km), Mountain Bike (16km), Trail Run (6km). Some loan paddle equipment available.
