Local Inspirations!
THE SMALL THINGS ARE IMPORTANT
To me contributing to a sustainable world is about the small things. Picking up rubbish when we see it. Always choosing the plastic free alternative when there is one. Trying to grow food. Planting more plants to improve native habitats. Going pre loved where possible.
A DEEPER CONNECTION
Watch out for echidnas on the roads! Sweet and shy. They are also some of our native ecosystem engineers – loosening and breaking up soil nice and softly which reduces compaction and helps the soil take in water.
DREAMING OF SCOTLAND? TREK VICTORIA'S VOLCANIC LAKES + PLAINS
With a winter carpet of emerald green, morning mist on sapphire lakes, hill walking and charming historic towns you could be forgiven for thinking you had woken up in England's lakes district or the Scottish borders!
HOLIDAY RUNNING!
There is a feeling of escape and discovery that only a holiday run can deliver on. Exploring a new destination on foot is one of my favorite things to do. There is something about new places that makes us lace up our runners that little bit tighter. Unfamiliar terrain and new sensory input triggers a primal physiological response that heightens the senses and dials the fun meter up to 10.
