The area is renowned for it's fertile farming land and with volcanic crater lakes (Bullen Merri & Gnotuk) and Mount Elephant dotting the landscape, you'll find beautiful and unexpected contrasts in scenery. The towns of the lakes and craters district are welcoming and are dotted with historic buildings - all well worth exploring.
