The Curdies River is navigable for about 18km upstream of the mouth. A fish cleaning table at the concrete boat ramp just north of the bridge is well used by happy anglers returning from an upstream jaunt. Please observe speed limits and channel markers. Those heading upstream need to be aware of a water skiing area and faster moving vessels near Curdievale.
