The Lakes and Craters landscape has long provided visitors with amenity for walking, fishing and captivating views it is now listed as the 57th Member of the Global Network of National Geoparks assisted by UNESCO. It is proposed the Geopark will educate visitors on the international geological significance of the landscape and highlight its cultural and aesthetic values.
