Step by step directions via the Princes Highway/A1 (201 km): 

  • Travel from Melbourne city onto the Westgate Freeway M1
  • Stay on the Princess Highway/B100
  • After Colac, turn left on to the Timboon-Colac Road/C163
  • Turn right on to Irrewillipe Road/C163
  • Turn left on to Majestic Road
  • Continue onto Coradjil Road
  • Turn left on to Lavers Hill-Cobden Road/C156
  • Arrive Simpson

Step by step directions via the Great Ocean Road/B100 ( 306 km): 

  • Travel from Melbourne city onto the Westgate Freeway M1
  • Follow the C134 to Torquay
  • Turn onto Mount Duneed Road
  • Exit onto Surfcoast Highway/B100
  • Continue on Great Ocean Road/B100
  • After Princetown turn onto Princetown Road/C166
  • Arrive Simpson

Bus & Train via Great Ocean Road:

Bus services operated by V/Line are available from Melbourne to Princetown or the 12 Apostles Visitor Centre (Monday, Wednesday & Friday only). You will then complete your journey by Taxi with Ride With Us

The first part of your journey from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne's CBD to Geelong is by Train, from here you will enjoy a coastal coach trip to Apollo Bay where you have a short 15 minute break and change to the Warrnambool bus service.
