The magic of the 12 Apostles is a pretty good reason to visit, but we've come up with a few more that showcase places nearby the famous rocks.
Speaking of rock, there's a new music festival taking place this November on a property in Princetown. Check out the Loch Hart Festival with a line up of over 20 acts over a full weekend.
Also in November, on the 24th the popular Timboon Artisan Festival showcases producers on the 12 Apostles Artisan Trail. Taking place in central Timboon - this event is a few years in and we can vouch that it certainly satisfies the taste buds for serious foodies who are serious about sustainable food practises and simply great food.
On a big weekend in October (19, 20, 21) there are two events taking place north of the coast in the Volcanic Lakes and Plains; Rockabilly and vintage car enthusiasts will love Camperdown's Rock the Clock - with a big weekend of events including show and shine, music and dancing. Grab your circle skirt and bobby socks for that one!
Cobden Springfest is a celebration of community and sees the town of Cobden open its arms to visitors from far and wide for a parade, kids activities and some unusual events including the annual duck race on the lake. This is a great family event where kids can get a real taste of life in the country.
