About the listing
This year, Year 9 students from all secondary schools in Corangamite Shire have been participating in a program called We Know Your Name But Not Your Story. This program is delivered by Corangamite Shire in collaboration with VicHealth and Humankind Enterprises in response to a large portion of youth in our region feeling isolated and disconnected. The project aims to build resilience through sharing personal stories and strengthening connections within the community.
Corangamite Shire Youth Services invite all community members aged 12-25 years within Corangamite Shire to come and share their stories in order to create stronger connections among young people in our community. We are holding a youth community connection session on Wednesday 18th September 2019.
The day will involve facilitation by Humankind Enterprises, experts in community connection through the power of stories. Your story will be captured on smartphones, in video and photo format, by the local Year 9 students who have participated in our Building Resilience in Corangamite Kids (BRICKs) program. The footage will then be collated into a film that will be screened at the Youth Achievement Awards at the end of the year.
RSVP to be a part of it all!
