Croft's Bay is a long pretty bay that is generally sheltered from Ocean Swell by offshore reef and a collection of smaller sea stacks.
Childers Cove, Sandy Cove and Murnanes Bay offer wonderful seascapes and an impression of relative isolation even in peak times.
Port Campbell Jetty
An attraction in its own right! Port Campbell’s weathered jetty juts defiantly into the bay, dwarfed by limestone cliffs and frequently by waves on the offshore reef.
The meandering course of the Gellibrand River finds the sea beneath the bold headland of Pt Ronald. Wild and untamed; Princetown’s steep banked surging beach extends 800m east of Pt Ronald where it gives way to dunes, a series of crumbled headlands and small bays.
Prepare to be dwarfed by the magnitude of the cliff-line and offshore stacks. The sheer scale of natural sculpting evident at this site is humbling. In local vernacular, Gog and Magog are the names given to the two offshore stacks that may be viewed from both the viewing platform and (tide and sea permitting) from beach level. These are not considered part of the 12 Apostles.
The broad double sweep of Newfield Bay extends east from the mouth of the Curdies River some 1.7 km to where it terminates once again into the limestone cliffs that characterize the area. Offshore reefs mark the final resting place of the Schomberg and the Newfield.
Lake Bullen Merri - South Beach
Find your own space on this crystal clear volcanic lake on the southern outskirts of Camperdown.

Picturesque sand bottomed Lake Tooliorook is located 5km from Lismore. The lake offers good fishing and boating amenity and superb views across to Mount Elephant (near Derrinallum).
The crater rim above the lake offers great views and a strong impression of the volcanic nature of the lake. There is a boat ramp and jetty which can be a little difficult to access in low water levels. Bank fishing is difficult in most conditions but is possible from a jetty near the boat ramp.
Deep Lake Recreation Reserve
Deep Lake is just 4.5km from the beautiful township of Derrinallum in South West Victoria and is located just off the Hamilton Highway. The Lake offers spectacular views of Mount Elephant and has toilets, boat launching facilities and a state of the art floating jetty.
